Die CSC csi boX ist als studentisches Projekt an der Universität Oslo entstanden. Weiterentwickelt entsteht ein dem Standort und den Nutzungsanforderungen angepasstes Gebäude mit einem beeindruckenden Raum-in-Raum-in-Natur-Erlebnis.
Die Konzeptbeschreibung der Projektautoren aus Norwegen:
“Infinite is the design, which gets existence by time and gets time by its inhabitants”
„As we enter a certain level of density it`s the void catching our surprise. Rest and peace as main state of mind, located in the middle of lushly growing flowers and plants-a subtle extend of vegetation as if it was perceived as a temporary habitat.
On the opposite, direction north, a wall enclosing an area of functions and programmatic necessities regarding an off-grid cabin structured in a white wooden frame, carefully positioning furniture as elements in space, in conversation with the centered hanged object. Undefined is the space within, yet defined by night…..
Concluding, the design consists out of various activities taking place in a variety of scales in different areas of the building.”
Die CSC csi boX ist im Original für 2 Personen konzipiert, in der jetzt modifizierten Form ist eine 4 Personennutzung möglich. Sie kann auch als Gemeinschaftsraum genutzt werden, sollte z.B. Platzbedarf für „boX-übergreifende“ Aktivitäten bestehen.
